If you want a real library, go to the Canton Library. The younger high school kids and toddlers stay at the base level, and the grown-ups remain at the upper level, so the noise doesn't reach them. Someone is watching the high school kids at the base level, so they don't tend to cross over to the other side. They should renovate, put the teen rooms downstairs, and use the second floor for the grown-ups; that way, everyone can enjoy their time at the library. Also, they should read the reviews and take notes on how they can update the Randolph library for the customers. They have a meeting pod, tutoring, and printing is a bargain at Turner library, which is good, but it benefits the kids more than the grown-ups. The high schools always at the meeting pods eating mc Donald’s , there is an A
I come here as much as I can but lately, I haven’t enjoyed my experiences. There were two older ladies, one with a short boy cut, who was very rude and dismissive and the other older lady played into it. I was simply asking a question. Maybe they were having a tough day but I didn’t deserve that behavior. Please work on this. The reason for two stars was the lady with dyed hair who is beyond kind and the other woman with glasses. They both went out of their way to help. These mean librarians should take example from their younger counterparts
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the facility is always cold, even the water to wash your hands are always cold. How am I supposed to kill those Covid germs? Cold water is not going to do it. But as for the staff, they are so nice and very helpful.
This is a nice New England town library. It is clean and well-kept and, as I understand as a newcomer to Randolph, recently renovated. The adult services librarian Sharon is helpful and runs creative evening craft weeknights each month. Printing here is no bargain but it is reliable and straightforward - bring quarters. Beats Staples. Overall this library is a good asset to Randolph's Main Street.
I absolutely love the Turner Free Library. I just went to the tea blending workshop and I learned so much about the alchemy of tea. I also enjoy the Tales and Ales book club. I'm happy for the opportunity to discuss the monthly books and eat nachos.
