★★★★½ Turmerica by Tanvi Modi has really nice interiors and a warm ambience—especially with the instrumental music in the background. The staff were cooperative and attentive, and the food was delicious with great presentation. Overall it was a very good experience; a couple of small things kept it from being a perfect 5, but I’d definitely come back and recommend it. Server Vikram has been truly amazing and took very good in care of us!

Great food, good service and good menu options. We had sugarcane juice and aam panna for beverages. Sugarcane juice was great and good quantity. Aam panna was a bit overpowered by the cumin seeds and I couldn't really taste anything other than the cumin seeds. We got the cauliflower appetizer, dhokla duet, mirch pakoda and masala papad for the appetizer which were all good. We also got chole puri and pav bhaji which were better than any other DMV region restaurant we have tried. We also got the Punjabi thali that had a great variety of delicious food and even included the pudina chass/ lassi.

The food is delightful! So delicious. The thali is exceptional value if you don't know what to get. I couldn't finish it all, which is a shame because every dish was amazing. The atmosphere is pleasant. Good decor, enticing smells, and the music isn't too loud. I look forward to trying other things from their menu soon.

The food at this restaurant is okay—nothing extraordinary, but decent enough for a casual meal. The staff, however, is very friendly and genuinely accommodating, which is definitely a plus. That said, if you eat pure Jain food (especially without ginger), make sure to specify that very clearly. For some reason, their so-called Jain dishes still include ginger, which completely defeats the purpose. It’s something they really need to pay attention to. What surprised me even more was being charged for a small spoon of yogurt that we requested for my friend’s one-year-old son. It felt unnecessary and a bit unreasonable. Overall, a mixed experience: good service, average food, but some practices that really need improvement.

We visited on Saturday, Dec 29th, and the restaurant was not at all busy. We ordered pav bhaji, aloo tikki Chaat, and chole puri. For drinks we ordered mango falooda and aam panna. The food was good. Loved the aam panna and the aloo tikki Chaat the best!
