From our very first tasting with Vanessa, we knew we had to book her. Vanessa Placido Cakes made the most amazing wedding cake for us! We chose a three-tier design with three different flavors: vanilla cake with strawberry jam and cream, vanilla with dulce de leche (a massive crowd favorite), and a rich chocolate tier. Every single layer was unbelievably delicious. The cake wasn’t just gorgeous to look at, it was truly one of the best-tasting cakes we’ve ever had. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it. We originally planned to save our top tier, but it was so good that we ended up eating half of it the week of the wedding… so the other half is now in the freezer! Vanessa nailed both the flavor and the design. We couldn’t have been happier and would recommend her in a heartbeat!

I cannot even begin to express our joy over the cake Venessa made for our son’s first birthday. We ordered a two-tier, hot air balloon–themed cake with vanilla icing, chocolate filling, and fondant details throughout. Every single person who attended the party was incredibly impressed by both the taste and how beautifully it turned out. It actually exceeded my reference picture. I am usually not a fan of sweet foods, yet I somehow ended up devouring most of the cake myself. The person who delivered the cake was also exceptionally kind and thoughtful. He didn’t have to bring the cake inside or place it for us, but he did—making sure it was positioned safely and perfectly. I recently ordered a gender reveal cake from Vanessa, and it was absolutely amazing! I placed my order on Wednesday, and she had it beautifully done by Saturday. Vanessa was extremely polite, professional, and shared in my excitement for my new grandbaby. Vanessa Placido delivers beyond my expectations. I contacted Vanessa a month ahead of my daughter's birthday for a nautical theme cake. She patiently worked with me in designing the cake exactly as I wanted it to look. On the day of the event, the cake was delivered on time. The cake was beautifully designed.
