Visiting a friend in the Plymouth area and we decided to go to Tumeric House for dinner. Food is light on spice and flavor, but enjoyable with great service. For starters we ordered the Plymouth Vegetarian Platter with vegetable samosa, vegetable pakora, gobi pakora, veg momo & cheese kofta. More than enough for 3 people to share, we enjoyed all of the flavors. For dinner I ordered the Matar Paneer served with rice for the table. My dish was very light on spice and flavor with mild heat. My partner ordered the Shaag Paneer saying the dish was good but again light on spice and flavor with medium heat. Our friend ordered the Chana Masala and loved his dish. We did order some Naan for the table which I did not eat. Overall, food and service are fine, would have liked a bit more flavor
I gave three stars because one of the items we ordered was not correct and also because there was a foreign object found in the paneer dish. I posted a picture of it. This was our first time eating here we got takeout. We ordered two paneer entrees a shrimp entree, a chicken entree, a vegetable entree, a spinach and cheese naan, a coconut naan, and a fried vegetable appetizer. Quite a bit of rice came with the order. Overall the food was not bad. The chicken dish was not white meat chicken breast and that is what we are usually used to when getting food from other establishments. I would have preferred the white meat chicken breast but it was okay with the dark meat. The spinach naan said that it was cheese and spinach, it definitely was spinach but no one noticed any cheese in it. We orde
This was my second visit. All the food I’ve had has been fresh and delicious. The portions are very generous and I would highly recommend trying it if you haven’t.
A warm, inviting place to enjoy dinner if you’re craving flavorful Indian cuisine. I enjoyed the lamb - Laal Mass (in red sauce) and my mom had the Seafood Curry (orange sauce).
If it’s your first time trying Indian food, this the best place to go. I mean bro, the food was incredibly delicious, pack with flavor. I recommend the goat biriani, and the goat saag , and the chicken masala, all that enough to full 4 people and left overs. I love this place
