By the Sea Bed & Breakfast

When looking for a hotel try this Bed and Breakfast (B & B), it is perfect place to stay. Within walking distance to just about everything you can do in Plymouth, the shops, the legendary rock and Mayflower II, restaurants, museumand a many of the statues. Everything you could need is available to you. From fridge and microwave, hairdryer, soaps, and such, box fan and even wine glasses. Bed is super comfy, wi-fi is superb (we both played online muliti-player games with no problem), the shower is fantastic with full heat and a powerful shower head, the view from the Mayflower room is absolutely spectacular ❣️ There is a great sun room, a lovely porch and perfect sitting room with fireplace, all available for use. A coffee station with treats downstairs. Easy to find and easy to get to.

I loved By The Sea!! Plus Brenda and Roger were so kind and welcoming. I stayed for five or six nights and wish I had planned to be there longer. The location cannot be beat and there was nothing like waking up to the sunrise over the Mayflower II and the harbor. The super comfy bed made me feel like a princess (well, at my age technical more like the Queen). It was nice having the sofa to sit and look out the window at the water. A phenomenal stay and I would definitely go back

What a great place to stay when you visit Plymouth Massachusetts! Location, location, location and the warm hospitality of the hosts was just amazing. We were greeted at the door and welcomed into this beautiful B and B, and right away felt comfortable. We were taken to our suite on the second floor and the view was of the harbor and the Mayflower. The room was air conditioned and very clean. We enjoyed spending time on the front porch with warm fresh cookies and coffee while watching the activity in the harbor. It’s the kind of place that you don’t want to leave!

Two years ago we walked by the spectacular front porch of this B & B and dreamed about staying there. My dream came true! We just stayed four nights in the Governor Bradford Suite. Essentially a full apt with private entrance and kitchen. The king bed was very comfortable. Views of Plymouth Harbour from the large living room windows of our suite were beautiful. Watching the sun rise or the fog roll in and out was amazing. There's two large porches on the back of the suite, one with a table and chairs we enjoyed every day. Brenda and Roger were delightful and available every morning on the front porch with coffee, pastries, conversation and local touring advice. The inn was charming and felt like coming home each day when we returned. The location can't be beat, across the street

Let me begin by saying I have admired By the Sea for years and years. Every time we’ve walked by in the past, I’ve said, “Someday I want to stay there!” Well, finally it happened. We set a reminder on the phone after a visit to Plymouth last November, and I’m overjoyed to say we just returned from a WONDERFUL long weekend at By the Sea! Our hosts Brenda and Roger were very warm and welcoming. They were quite knowledgeable about the local area and generally really engaging and easy to talk to. Our room was beyond beautiful and provided a panoramic waterfront view. After dinners out at excellent restaurants recommended by Roger and Brenda we spent each evening on the front porch watching the many passers by (human and canine) and enjoying the sunset, lovely breeze, and boats coming and goi
