Great restaurant, very technical style of ordering. Call, request or pay bill via button. You can order online via app in when dine in so people can order for themselves on same table. No worry abt splitting check later. They add 15% gratituty on every check, tip are not required on top of that but you are welcome to. Staff was nice, food was great. Thai tea was awesome, love their serving style so it doesn’t get diluted.

I stopped by on my lunch break around 12:05 PM on a weekday. Parking was pretty congested, and I ended up having to park farther away near the Food Terminal side. When I walked in, there were only about three other tables occupied, and I was seated right away. The décor was beautiful just as others have mentioned and it really gave me the feeling of being in Thailand. I ordered a Thai tea, which came in a small kettle so you could refill it yourself. For my meal, I went with the Pad Thai, listed online at $12. Despite the restaurant not being busy, my food took about 25 minutes to arrive. It seemed like they may have forgotten my order at first. I hate to leave a negative review for one of my once-favorite Thai/Lao restaurants, Tum Pok Pok. My family and I have been coming here since they first opened and truly loved it in the beginning. Unfortunately, over the years things have changed…and not for the better. They’ve switched to QR-code ordering only, and a 15% service charge is now automatically added to the bill. While I understand rising food costs, the quality of both the food and service has noticeably declined. Tonight was by far our worst experience. We ordered basil fried rice with no protein, Tum Lao (papaya salad), and Tod Man Pla (fish cakes). My friend and I came here for a birthday dinner, and the experience was great. The staff were welcoming and never made us feel rushed even though we arrived close to closing time. We ordered papaya salad, pork wontons, tom yum, basil fried rice, calamari, grilled chicken, roti canai, mango sticky rice, and Thai tea. Every dish was delicious, and I’d definitely recommend this place.

I’ve heard great things about this place — I ordered the basil fried rice and the hot chicken wings. Unfortunately, the fried rice didn’t seem to have any basil in it and was just a regular fried rice. It was solid but wasn’t what I was expecting. The wings were good — the seasoning was just the right level of spiciness for me and the chicken was cooked well. The rice may have been the wrong thing to order, so I’d like to come back and try other dishes. Also the bathroom is pretty interesting
