Truck Parking Area (Westbound), Fort Davis, TX

Unfortunately, it's the most neglected rest we ever stop. Trash all over the place. I call to report, after third transfer call an office took my call. Unfortunately, they don't seem enthusiastic, he just say, will contract the maintenance in that area. But, sounding like, no one is assigned to clean the place. It's so sad, not what Texas stand for... Don't Mess with Texas!!! I hope, someone out there will look into this trucking rest area, its really unsanitary.

Lots of trucks were coming through, but it quieted down after midnight. We slept well in a Class B all night. Lots of trash has blown all over because some trash cans don't have lids. Employees need to clean it up.

*****NO RESTROOMS***** Parking area not to be confused with a rest stop. Another Texas highway embarrassment. Limited facilities, parking lot, over flowing trash cans and abundant trash and TP everywhere and some picnic tables. Personally I'd rather see a modern vault toilet or even a stinky one hole outhouse then TP and feces all over the ground due to the lack of options. This site closely resembles a dump due to the lack of maintenance and upkeep. The Texas Government should be seriously embarrassed. 😳

No restrooms but for truckers who need to take a nap or a break nice little stop.

Great spot to stop especially for us heavy haul guys. Long and wide loads fit here easily with a big run off and easy get on ramp. Not much in the way of facilities but being able to have a convenient place to park is sometimes more important.
