Tropix Pots Cuisines Bar & Grill is the real deal when it comes to authentic Caribbean food. Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. The jerk chicken had that perfect smoky heat, the curry shrimp was rich and savory, and the jerk macaroni and cheese was next-level creamy with just the right kick. The potato salad was fresh and well-seasoned, the plantains were sweet and fried just right, and the mini chicken and beef patties were flaky, flavorful, and addictive. On top of the food, the service was great, the atmosphere was welcoming and vibey, and the drinks were on point, well-balanced, and refreshing. This spot truly delivers on flavor, culture, and hospitality. If you’re craving authentic Caribbean cuisine, Tropix Pots is a must-visit.

The Wife and I went there on a Sunday and we're disappointed by the way, they prepared the food. They were heating up some of the food up in the microwave, and the rice that they gave us was dry. You can tell it had been setting out because it was hard, it wasn't fresh. We plan on giving them one more chance. But, this time we will request fresh rice. I'm not sure if this business is gonna last for long because on a Sunday. It was only four people in there. Including us. Dhall of DC/DMV

Welp... I've been here quite a few times but unfortunately, this might be my last visit. Came in after work to decompress before going home dealing with my kids. I was immediately seated. I asked the waiter if the honey old bay wings were dry rub (I'm normally a lemon pepper girlie) compared to the honey glaze. He said yes. So, I ordered them with a side of cabbage and mac and cheese. I also ordered their frozen island drink. I waited for quite some time (restaurant was basically empty). I was getting impatient and wondered why I hadnt been brought a water or anything in the meantime. The waiter came back and asked me to confirm if I wanted my drink frozen. I reconfirmed and then asked for a glass of water. My food came out before I got any drink. I immediately noticed that the chicken

I ordered the curry goat for take out with mac n cheese and rice n peas as the sides. The curry goat tasted very very good. After cleaning the bones out the portion was a little small for the $20 price point. But other than that it was super tasty! The mac n cheese definitely wasnt my style. Others may like it, but it has a different taste then I'm used to. (When this place was called "Jerk n Jive" their mac n cheese was my favorite. ) I'm looking forward to trying the Oxtail next time, and some other items on the menu.

Only thing nice about this place is the atmosphere when they have live music. Service sucks, they don’t communicate, no sorry when they mess up your order. Treated me like it was my fault my food was delayed and it was my fault they messed up my order. Food is overpriced and small portions. Got jerk salmon and it had no heat or spice at all. Who ever is making the potato salad needs serious help as it was runny and tasted like potato cream soup…nasty work! I miss Jerk and Jive!
