Tropical Smoothie Cafe

Stopped by for lunch and got a Jamaican jerk chicken wrap and it was phenomenal. High quality food and service. It's fast food I don't feel bad about eating. It's comparable in price to other higher end fast food chains but the quality of the fresh ingredients and service make it a great value. The Sunrise Sunset smoothie I got was fantastic.

I was all dressed up this morning and stopped to order smoothies for employees. I ordered three there was a little redhead girl working she was very unfriendly from the get-go. She handed me each smoothie out the window seeing that I had no room or anywhere to hold them I ask if we or rather if she had cupholders and she said we do but… And shrugged her shoulders. This was after an entire smoothie was all over my clothes and everything from trying to hold them then I handed it back to her. They never offered to replace the smoothie. I had to pull over in the line and clean my clothes, clean off my car mat And a little snide girl never offered to help or offered apologies. Ridiculous customer service. Update: I visited the store again today (03/10/25), and the Acia bowls are much better and worth every penny. Very delicious. Thank you TSC Wetumpka. This is the first acai bowl I have received from any Tropical Smoothie that was this low. $10.89 is a lot of money to spend on such small quantity. Bowls received look nothing like the picture you all advertise. Wetumpka TS please do better or I'll have to start getting my bowls from Smoothie King.

The smoothies are inconsistent. Some days they’re perfect, but most days they are either too thick to drink with a straw, too runny, flavorless, or not blended well enough and have ice cubes at the bottom. If I’m paying $8-$10 for a smoothie, I feel like they should at least be consistent in quality.

To be fair. I gave a one star last week because they do not consistently open at 7am!!! But they were open yesterday and my smoothie was great. Please we need more smiles at the drive thru but thank you for being open at the advertised hours.
