Tropical Bowl Express

I ordered the jerk chicken, curry coconut shrimp, and curry pumpkin bowls and all of them were delicious. The portions were generous and we had leftovers for later. The jerk chicken was really good with a perfect balance of heat and flavor. Each bowl was packed with flavor, and I really appreciated the variety of vegetables in the curry coconut shrimp and curry pumpkin dishes. I will definitely be back.

I was super excited to try this food out only to be really disappointed. I had the oxtail which was super over powering with spices ans very salty. The rice was on the hard end and didn’t have much flavor either. Jerk chicken tasted super burnt and extremely dry. I waited an extra 30 mins for my order, the gentleman was very nice and it did appear he was working alone. The beef patty was the best thing I had. It is also very pricey here, I spent $75.

The portions are amazing. What’s wild is there’s a regular size and a large size! I got regular but I can’t imagine what large would be like! The regular is enough for me to have a few meals for a few days. The smell is out of this world. The owner is the only one there. He cooks, greets, cashiers, and packages everything up for you so I would say order ahead since it’s a one man show. He was very kind and quite fast for being his only employee lol. The flavors are phenomenal. Everything is extremely well seasoned. Tender. Juicy. Great spice. Not too spicy to be overpowering. I would go back 100%.

I highly Tropical Bowl Express! The jerk chicken bowl with fried plantains and peas was absolutely delicious. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the plantains added the perfect touch of sweetness. Highly recommend! My girlfriend ordered the jerk chicken wrap and she loved it!

I ordered through Uber Eats! I got the curried coconut shrimp, fried plantain and rice and peas, Hibiscus Sorrel and fried breadfruit. The first bite and I thought I was at home in islands. WOW! I would wait how ever long to just eat here! You MUST try it!
