First time there a friend recommended I was very surprised how good it was how fresh everything tasted I got me a number 24 and I could taste everything on it I can taste the meats I could taste the the space is I could taste the cheese I could taste the coleslaw everything was so good. Will be back
The gentleman who took my order was so kind and helpful. The Caribbean Cuban was the best Cuban sandwich I ever had! We also ordered corn sorbet and cotton candy ice creams. Also very flavorful. Over all such a welcoming place and delicious food! Will be back!!!!
Good but not life changing Cuban sandwiches. I ordered the chorizo Cuban and it tasted basically the same as a normal Cuban because there was a very small amount of chorizo added. I enjoyed the crispiness of the bread. I would prefer if they used chunks of roast pork instead of deli slices. There also wasn’t a ton of mayo/mustard, I would have liked a bit more. Sandwich was ready in around 5 minutes. There are better Cuban sandwiches in the area (Chica’s), but this place is still worth trying.
Listen very carefully I grew up in South Florida among the Cuban communities. I have traveled through the Cuban parts of Miami extensively and eating many many Cuban sandwiches in my many many days. Having now moved to North Central Florida in the city of DeLand I was concerned I would never find a good Cuban sandwich again. These fears were subsided when I discovered the Tropi Shack. This is by far the greatest Cuban sandwich I have ever had in my entire life. They have 23 different varieties of Cuban sandwich and I highly recommend that you try the one with the guava and cream cheese among the pork and turkey. It's served on a Cuban sweet bread that will make your mouth water and your brain explode. I mean this in all seriousness this is the greatest Cuban sandwich shop between here and
I love the bright, tropical décor and the fact that they offer entertainment for the kids. I ordered the kickin' chicken sub with potato salad, and my spouse got the grilled Cuban with black beans and rice. His sandwich was delicious, and the black beans and rice had a unique, sweet flavor but were also good. I have one question for the sub: "Where's the meat?" It's one slice of chicken deli meat, not a piece of chicken breast. The bread and veggies were all fresh, but there was barely any meat, and the potato salad was store-bought. So, stick with the grilled Cubans and flan is my advice.
