Trooper Thorn's Irish Beef House

My family has been here quite a few times, and for the most part, the food is very good. I think the crab cake was the only thing any of us ordered that was subpar and would not order again. All the traditional Irish dishes are very good. Their chicken fingers, burgers, and fries are also delicious…probably the best I can think of out of the bar/restaurants we go to in the area. Prices are reasonable. We always receive good service and drinks never sit empty for long. Unfortunately the one big miss for us is that their beer isn’t very cold. Their Sunday brunch is pretty good too!

Cool spot for dinner and drinks. We went during a karaoke night and the bartender was busy but did amazing job taking care of us on the deck. The burger was overcooked but everything else was great!

I arrived at 11:45 to get a last second drink. The hours on the website said they close at 1:00am. My group asked if they were still serving and we received attitude from the bartender stating they “already did last call.” If that’s the case, they should abide by the hours on their website and not close because they feel like it. I spent $10 on an Uber hoping to get at least one drink in before they closed. But instead, we were met with attitude because the staff stated they plan to go out to another bar down the road. However, the bartender stated “rules are rules.” They had us wait inside the store and wouldn’t serve us anything. I understand if a place is supposed to be closing within the next half hour, then you might have closed up the drawers and can’t serve customer anymore, but the

NEVER disappoints. I've been here many times. Today was the first time we went for brunch. The Honey Hot Chicken & Waffle was absolutely incredible. We'll have to come for brunch more often!

Parking in the lot is convenient. This is a friendly pub with plenty of beer selections for your taste. I really appreciate that they have a hard cider on tap to enjoy here. My burger was cooked to order. The fries were ok. I like mine a bit more crisp. My companion ordered the fish and chips. Which was very enjoyable. The waiter and staff were very attentive to our table. Overall a good experience for dinner here.
