Trixie's Pizza

Very nice, cute, little, homey vegan pizza shop in Beacon. It's nice to see a fully vegan spot in Beacon though you'd never guess. This pizza is absolutely delicious. It's a small operation by one guy so the menu is limited but great. But because of this, he's only open 3 days a week which makes it hard to make it here sometimes but worth the trip. The ingredients seem incredibly fresh and it's not too heavy. I saw every table of 2 finish a pie. I think there are still some improvements that could be made such as cooking in the oven just a bit less and making the crust a touch thicker but overall this pizza was absolutely delicious and worth trying.

The pizza was soooo good! I couldn’t even tell that it was vegan. Everything tastes fresh and good. The atmosphere and service was amazing. Very calm and the service was quick and efficient! It’s a little tricky to find just look for the sign!

Pizza = life and Trixie’s changed mine. After over 20 years of being a vegan I am eating delicious classic pizza again. The non vegans in my life agree, it is among the best pizza they’ve had. Chewy but not thick, cheesy but not gummy, a flavor explosion in each bite due to quality ingredients, lovingly assembled in something truly special. The service is warm, the spot is charming. I wanted to get to Beacon and try this pizza before I moved out of NY. I would say this is a really solid pizza with a few notes. (Let it cool down and it’s even better)The crust is on the darker side, it’s light on the cheese and when you order for a certain time just plan to wait 10-15 minutes past that time- no judgement just a note for other folks that go. I could taste the quality and the flavor of the dough was delicious. I really enjoyed the flavor of the sausage on the sausage and pepper pizza but it’s a spicy pizza so if that’s not your thing you might want to skip it.

Wow, what an excellent pie! We’ve eaten a lot of vegan pizza over the past 15+ years and this was among the very best! We got the sausage pesto after a long, rainy hike and ate the whole thing up. Nice vibe and a few tables inside. The entrance is around back. Will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area!
