Chrystie House Bed & Breakfast

Chrysties House is a lovely bed & breakfast! Our room was idyllic - large & comfortable, with a pretty view of the Hudson. This was a great spot, walkable or (<5min uber) to downtown Beacon Main Street but close to the Dia art museum & trails along the river. Lynn & team were lovely - tasty breakfast, and flexible with check in /out! I’d highly recommend using the fireplace in your room (so charming!) and listening to the grand piano ❤️ We will be coming back!!

My partner and I stayed at Chrystie House in the William Few room which was gorgeous and tastefully decorated with period appropriate furniture as well as paintings drawn by the host's husband that made us feel like we were back in colonial times. The room itself was clean, spacious enough for 2 people, and well supplied with amenities such as tea, an electric kettle, luxurious bath robes, and fresh linens. The bed was extremely large and comfortable so despite the colonial appearance, we did not lack in modern comforts.||Every morning we had breakfast which included a fruit salad, orange juice, coffee, croissants, and eggs. My partner and I stayed one night at Chrystie House and had the loveliest time. It was an easy walk from Beacon and Lynn warmly welcomed us even as we arrived a bit too early. We stayed in the master bedroom on the recommendation of Lynn, and it was a great choice. The room was tastefully decorated, and the bed was big and comfortable. The big tree right outside the window and the grazing deer contributed to the peaceful feeling. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast prepared by Lynn. The owners have clearly put a lot love into the restoration of the house and the attention to detail is noticeable. Highly recommend to stay here - we only wished we could stay longer :)

My bf and I had such a great stay here! We stayed at the Henry Winthrop Sargent Room, it was a great size, very clean, and the views are really pretty since we could see the river. The whole house is beautifully restored and I’ll def be coming back to experience the other rooms as well. Lynn is really nice and it was great talking to her and learning about the history and the journey it was to restore and maintain this home. The home is decorated with Yuan Lee’s beautiful paintings, I would’ve loved to stay longer than a night to explore the home and chat with them more! The breakfast was also great, Lynn made us some fruit, eggs and croissants! We didn’t have any issues with not bringing a car too, we walked and once in a while Ubered since it’s not too far from the Main Street and Dia. I

Chrystie House is such a hidden gem in upstate NY. The entire house is so beautifully decorated. It snowed while we stayed here and it was like a winter wonderland. The owner is also so sweet and you can tell she really cares about her guests and their stay. The breakfast was super fresh! The mushroom egg quiche was especially delicious. The bed and breakfast is in a great location, a 15 min walk to Dia Beacon and also a nice walk to Main Street. I look forward to visiting and staying here again!!
