If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The food was incredible. We sat outside in their dog-friendly patio (which also has comfy couches). Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. We first ordered Chips & salsa (3 types) which was scrumptious, followed by a HUGE steak burrito for my husband. I had the Tinga & Burris tacos. Both were heavenly. Quality & fresh ingredients were forefront in each of the dishes. And to top it off, tres leche cake for dessert made in house. I wish I lived nearer. I would eat here way too often! Oh… and just a plain ole house margarita was divine. No need to upgrade unless you are a tequila connoisseur.
The only thing better than the food and drinks here was the service. Brandon was highly attentive and we really enjoyed sitting at the bar with him. The drinks were exceptional (I can highly recommend the spicy house marg and the Cadillac marg, as well as their tequila espresso martini) and the jalapeño poppers were the best I’ve ever had (zero exaggeration). We’re so happy we popped by this place for happy hour and if we were locals, we’d be in here all the time. Thanks for the hospitality, y’all! We so appreciated you!
Congratulations Tres Toros for keeping up Bozeman's reputation for having mediocre-at-best Mexican food. For two people without any alcohol, just Mexican cokes, our bill exceeded $100. My wife ordered a Mahi Salad that literally had 4 small and dry pieces of fish in a bowl full of lettuce with dressing that was meh. I had two steak tacos for $8 each that were tiny and had so much onion that it dominated the taste. No sides. Seriously, this restaurant has tremendous potential, great location, hip vibe, good service, but the menu is overpriced, the portions are small, missing traditional dishes like enchiladas. The desserts were dry, overpriced and devoid of any flavor. Sorry everyone 😔 bummed.
Amazing people, margaritas, and food! The chimichanga was amazing!! 🌮 and our waitress was so nice and accommodating. Def a must-visit in Big Sky
The atmosphere was certainly enjoyable. Upon our arrival, there was a significant influx of customers that caused a backlog in the kitchen. It appeared that only one person was handling both serving and order-taking duties. Despite this, the food was delivered hot and tasted delicious. We would certainly consider returning.
