Travelin' Tom's Coffee

Nice coffee shop located immediately upon entering the food court area of summit mall. Nice lounge area, good coffee, and more syrups than I’ve ever seen. Plenty of options for coffee and coffee drinks.

I was really excited to see a new coffee spot open in the mall. That said… the pricing is tough to justify. A 16 oz regular coffee being $7 with no added syrups or extras feels steep. I can go to Starbucks or Dunkin' and get a 24 oz coffee for several dollars less. For everyday coffee drinkers, that difference adds up fast. And honestly, it doesn’t inspire confidence when even the employee working there was drinking coffee from Dunkin’. You know it’s bad when the staff isn’t choosing their own product. I really want this place to succeed because having more options in the mall is a good thing — but the pricing needs to be more competitive if they want people to come back regularly.

Disappointing experience today. I ordered a decaf iced latte and watched the barista scoop powdered coffee from a tub instead of using freshly ground beans. The drink didn't taste like it contained an actual espresso shot, confirming they likely used instant decaf. For $6, I expected a standard espresso-based latte. Definitely not worth the price. Wish i can get a refund. 😅

I had an unfortunate experience with Travelin Tim’s coffee. Got a black coffee that was supposed to have almond milk in it, as I have a dairy allergy, and either the almond milk was spoiled or I was given whole milk in the coffee because I had a horrible allergic reaction. A little more attention to detail would have been much appreciated. Their truck is cute and I know others at the event enjoyed their experience, but it was not a good experience for me.

Travelin' Toms came to our school for the start of our staffs' day as a surprise. The staff had rave reviews about the service and the quality of the drinks. The person working was so sweet and we absolutely loved them! Can't wait to have them back!
