Townline Grill

My wife and I stopped at Townline Grill on our drive home from a Vermont day trip and are so glad we did! The owner was so friendly and fun to chat with, and we loved hearing a bit of her story. The space was super clean, cozy, and just felt really welcoming. We split a grilled cheese and a burger and both were delicious. We are always happy to support a woman-owned small business, and this one definitely deserves the stop!

I prefer to vet businesses before visiting them. The owner here is proud of their work, and stands behind her values. That alone brought me through the door. ...and then the amazing smash burger ensured I'd be coming back again. Not many local businesses know how to make a proper smash burger, but this place does!! Lastly: THE WALLS HERE AREN'T WHITEWASHED!!! It's so nice to see a cozy, warm feeling space with dark colors and inoffensive lighting for a change. Highly recommend this place. It's very underrated, and you'll be supporting good people.

If you haven’t tried the All American Smash Burger here yet, stop what you’re doing and fix that immediately. This burger isn’t just good it’s the kind of good that makes you stare at it for a second like, “Where have you been all my life?” The patties are perfectly smashed, crispy on the edges, juicy in the middle, and stacked with all the right fixings. Every bite tastes like happiness and summer and grill smoke had a meeting and decided to do something amazing together. The staff is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the food comes out fast but not “we microwaved it” fast, the “we know what we’re doing” fast. If you’re a burger person, you’ll be in love. Really, really good turkey wrap and burger. And a nice kids meal for the little one. Nice little low key spot. Will definitely make a point to return next time we’re in the area!
