Dell Veneri Bakery

Omg, the aroma when I walked in here was incredible- seriously, freshly baked bread and coffee? Fun to watch the guys in the window slicing the bread. Hands down this is the most authentic “bakery” in Rutland- not just another donut shop (but they do sell them!).

Dell Veneri Bakery is a no-frills, truly local bakery that’s clearly loved by its community. There’s nothing flashy here — just solid, honest baking and a welcoming, low-key atmosphere. For a small shop, the variety is surprisingly broad: sweet pastries, donuts, cookies, fresh bread, and even quiche — all made in-house. It’s the kind of place that’s genuinely convenient because it covers so much ground without compromising on quality. A great local stop, whether you're craving something sweet or something savory.

We bought pies a long time ago and they were terrible. We bought pies yesterday and WOW, amazing! The cherry pie was just like my grams. The strawberry rhubarb was great too. We will continue to buy and recommend. Thank you. Hope you all had a great holiday.

I went in and got a few doughnuts. They were all delicious, light and fluffy. The owner and his daughter were extremely friendly and made me feel very welcomed. The bakery was full of many wonderful items and ended up getting a bear claw with a pizza which was as good as the doughnuts! Highly recommended!

Best donuts in the Rutland area. Blows Dunkin out of the water. Picked up two dozen for my coworkers and got smiles all around. Wonderful quality, kind and helpful staff, the only name you need to know for quality baked goods in the greater Rutland area!
