El Carretón 2 is the real deal. The tortillas alone are worth the trip — fresh, warm, soft, and full of flavor. You can tell they’re not just pulled out of a bag. They taste homemade, and that makes all the difference. The breakfast burritos? Outstanding. Packed full, perfectly seasoned, and actually satisfying. No skimpy fillings, no bland bites — just solid, delicious food done right. And honestly? Way better than Sam’s Store down the road. Not even close. Better flavor, better quality, and just an overall better experience. If you’re deciding between the two, save yourself the disappointment and head straight to El Carretón 2. Highly recommend.

Love this place! Salsa Verde is amazing. Horchata is perfect, the food is authentic, and pupusas are a new favorite!

Great place close to Ben Wheeler we had barbacoa tacos and they are fantastic! Service was great and the place was clean and set up nice we will be back thanks for such a nice place

Stopped by this quaint little restaurant today. I'm so glad I did. The tacos were exceptional with just the right amount of spice. The service was fast and friendly. Ben Wheeler's new tacos spot! This place is so good. I can't wait to go back. Don't just drive by, stop in, you won't regret it. I'm hooked!

Had the fajuita street tacos with rice and beans. They were great. Wished I had just gotten regular tacos because I wished for pico as the sauces given were way too spicey even though I like spicey. But dont know if they even serve pico. Worth trying again for sure regardless.
