Dragonhead Retreat

We loved it here so much we stayed 2 extra days! Had family come from all over and we rented the lodge and cabin for our family weekend. We had the whole 25 acres to ourselves. We grilled, rode bikes, had smores and a huge bonfire our last night. The kids had their own space and things to do that unplugged them from online. The choice from board games and amenities was terrific. Plenty of room in meadow for our party we had and 30+ ppl. Kathy and Jeff were on the property but only showed their face when something was needed or to help us start the bonfire. Already booked the cabin for 2 months for the summer. Our kiddo is excited for his summer vacation coming up!

Great views especially at night! Dark sky with so many stars! Beds were comfortable in the lodge. Loved sending the kids upstairs and having plenty of room for our company and cooking. We liked the hight of the cooler box, it came in handy for our drinks and easy on the back! We ate our smore kit the 2nd night. Was awesome sitting by a huge outside fireplace under the pavilion. We fit a little over 30 ppl. We had a nice celebration with friends in the meadow and to end the party, we had a huge bonfire! All controlled and it sits in the ground. Definitely coming back!

I was invited to my cousin's 50th birthday retreat at this location for the first time. I was totally impressed! I loved the fact that it was kind of off the grid but still not too far away. You were able to enjoy nature but have access to some very accommodating amenities. There was a huge outdoor fire place, ping pong and overall both adult and kid friendly. The cabin that we had access to was clean, spacious and stylish. It was like an upgraded log cabin. I would definitely recommend this place for someone looking for a unique group or couples getaway!

My wife and I booked a three stay after a friend suggested it to us, and we are so glad they did. The property is beautiful and you feel so in touch with nature. The cabin is welcoming and comfortable, and filled with amazing rustic art from local artists. We cannot wait to book our next stay.

You can not stay at a more serene and beautiful place than Dragonhead Retreat! It is full of beautiful nature, walking paths, and quiet spaces. It also had great childrens areas for those families needing a fun get away. Perfect for families, couples, or large groups. The owners, Kathy and Jeff, are absolutely delightful and truly go out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience. I could stay here for weeks! The town area itself is so quaint, with delicious food, great and unique shops, and the friendliest community. I will be back!
