Toro Bravo

We came for the opening day! GREAT customer service— warm welcome and server was on it. Our food was delish and the plate presentation is 😍. We both got a type of enchiladas and we would both order the same dish again but, with such a big menu we are excited to try something new next time we go in. Their happy hour has both drinks and bites for great prices. Definitely the best food we have had in Vail. Homey but upscale dining. We will be regulars!

Okay, SO, important to note that Toro Bravo has been open two days (including today). That generally translates to be patient and aware that a restaurant is still getting its sea legs and staff is stabilizing to new service norms. I call this out because in the initial 28 (yes I was counting) minutes of being seated ... I was saying that very mantra in my brain and as I watched lots of staff just bustling by us and our server was non existent. To be fair, the hostess that sat us immediately came over and brought water, ice tea for my husband and a team member brought some chips and salsa so technically we were not ignored... we also had another team member stop by at 15-20 and asked us if we had been helped (nope) and she was 100% dedicated to getting a server over to us which I was ap

The atmosphere was amazing. The weight was a little bit to be expected due to the soft opening, but all of the staff were super friendly. The food was absolutely phenomenal. I would rate this place at 10 out of 10 would try again and we will be back.!!!!

My husband and I had a great experience on Wednesday evening opening day. Very busy evening! The Staff was hustling and all very polite. We went in the bar to have our dinner and sat in a booth. I had the Birria tacos and they were the best I have ever had. My husband described the meat as "A Party in your mouth" The building looks terrific and inviting the atmosphere is very welcoming and we will definitely be back with our friends

Had the chimichuri steak and it was awesome a friend had the ribeye but was a bit thin but cooked perfectly. Mickey behind the bar is very attentive with an upbeat personality. She even remembered our drink order from the previous night. Francisco is the best with his candid demeanor and quick funny quirks. The bar was rocking and the dining room was packed but everyone was very positive and seemed to handle the chaos. Great job and wishing you all the best of success in Vail. Oh and the chimichuri steak was THE BOMB!!!!
