2024 August, we called and placed order. Arrived, got in line inside. People arrived after me and few people were waiting. Some in line placed orders and had to wait. Since I placed order by phone prior to arriving, my food was ready when I arrived, asked for cake and the lady cashier gave me what I wanted. Food was good. Chicken tenders for children were very hard to bite, chew and cut with knife. Mac n cheese was not the best. One brisket cut was good and all other pieces had too much fat for me. Yams collard greens rice and gravy, baked beans and beef tips were good. 2022 October, I had to change the rating from 5 to 4 stars. Great fried chicken and cornbread. The only problem is the only have one place to order your food, pay for it and then pick it up. Causes long line and your wait time can be 15 to 20 minutes .

Talk about small town friendly feel and service! Smiles, smiles smiles all day long. Walked in and the place was extremely busy but moved very efficiently. It smelled great, however I was only in there for some take away BBQ out of the fridge. Got home made up a couple of sandwiches and WOW! talk about a fantastic smoked pulled pork with just the exact amount of spice and flavor. This is my new place to get my BBQ from. I am eager to come back and try some items off the menu. It's a Togo order only establishment, you can also call ahead of time before going. The fried chicken here 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 these cooks put that foot in the batter and timing on that chicken wooo weeee it was on point! 🤌🏼🐔🤌🏼 You haven't had good fried chicken unless you've eaten Topside. Better getcha some! And those Cakes!! 🤤💦

This is the first time I have made it here. Folks have said I should try. After this I'll be back food was very delicious and served hot and fresh. Soooo it's the second time visiting and the food and service didn't disappoint..Look at the portions and take out order.....

Delicious southern cooking that never disappoints with friendly service. The BEST fried chicken!! And the desserts are to die for. There is no seating and it can get busy, especially close to closing time.
