Customer Reviews
This spot is in the same plaza as Planet Fitness and the Korean BBQ place, with Tesla chargers nearby, so parking is never an issue. The restaurant itself is small but cozy — kind of a nice hidden spot. I ordered the beef bulgogi, and it came with a few banchan sides. The food tasted really fresh and healthy, not too greasy or heavy. I'm not sure if I like the scorch Rice. The wait staff seemed too busy to go over the food. I do wish they took time with me and demonstrated how to make a ssam. The menu is on the smaller side though, and I found myself wishing there were a few more options to choose from. Service was quick overall, but if you need something extra, you might have to flag someone down or order through your phone. I did like that the utensils were tucked neatly under the table
Top Sot is a new Korean gem that takes rice seriously. Each portion is cooked in its own little pressure pot, and you can taste the care in every bite. We arrived just before the dinner rush and were seated right away. The dining area was run by a team of cheerful staff members who kept everything moving smoothly and even brought out a chilled pitcher of water before we could ask. We ordered the pork bulgogi and short rib sets, and both were fantastic. The meat was tender, juicy, and not greasy at all. The banchan spread was amazing, with each side having its own flavor personality. The onion and cilantro mix with yuzu sauce completely stole the show. Fresh, crisp veggies, a rich nutty dip, and free banchan refills (they even refilled before we asked) sealed the deal. The vibe was lively
This Korean restaurant is truly authentic and incredibly delicious. The flavors are bold and well-balanced, not overly sweet like many other places that try to cater too much to Western tastes. Every dish tastes homemade and traditional, from the savory mains to the perfectly seasoned sides. The to-go packaging is excellent—secure, neat, and keeps the food fresh and hot. You can really tell they care about quality and authenticity. Highly recommended for anyone looking for real Korean food.
Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and delicious. My husband and I shared a rice combo plate with beef (also included the soybean paste soup) & monkfish soup (also came with a rice pot). The rice pot had a rice crust at the bottom. One of the combo dishes also came with a veggie platter. The monkfish soup was also delicious. It had good amount of buttery and tender monkfish. The banchan (side dishes) had unique flavors and veggies compared to other restaurants' banchan. I am still thinking about their ssamjang (which tasted a bit of seafood flavor) and it paired perfectly with their veggies. Their soybean paste soup also had pieces of beef. All the dishes were prepared well and tasted homemade.
Everything about this place is amazing, from the golden bowls to the little rice pot that turns into nurungji (burnt rice porridge) at the end. I ordered the beef tartare bibimbap and it was so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The beef was tender, the veggies crisp, and once you mix it all together it’s pure perfection. Every side dish tasted homemade and full of flavor. Service was great, super friendly and attentive. They even gave me a sikhye (Korean dessert drink) at the end, which was such a nice surprise. And there’s plenty of parking, which is always a plus. This place makes you feel fancy but totally comfortable at the same time. If you love Korean food or want to try something new, you have to come here.
