It’s a local pizza place so I gave 4 stars for service and atmosphere because of that. What do you expect? The food is a conundrum. They have a great lunch deal on two slices and a drink. 8 times out of 10 the pizza is sooooo good. The other two times it’s the worst thing ever and you toss it. Same with takeout. When the pizza is right, it’s the best within 15 miles. Unfortunately that’s only about half the time. The other half it’s terrible, soggy and wet even after you let it cool completely. There is 0 consistency. It’s either the absolute best or the absolute worst. There is no “oh I guess that was OK” and I don’t get it. I’ve also never had a good wing from there. Awful unless you like to chew soft skin.
Me and my boy cruise by regularly for a few years now and always discussed stopping. Finally went today right when they opened. Got burger bacon pizza and cheese pep w/sweet sauce. Few notes. HamBurger Bacon: Straight fire, solid smokey bacon flavor, def real bacon, good ground beef, and it wasn't like a "cheeseburger flavored" pizza, it's hamburger meat, good bacon, I couldn't pin the sauce but there is a vibrant mustard base that really just smacks. 9/10 would have again but would ask for light cheese and well done. Cheese Pep Sweet Sauce: Gotta have it in WNY I'm not a sweet sauce fanatic but I respect it's place in the culture. The sweet sauce was great not too sweet but not a weak attempt either. Solid pepperoni choice like a medium cup and char with a rich flavor not to tangy
I ordered delivery a man took my order and they told me an hour wait which ended up being an hour and 40 minutes. My food was cold. The subs are a good size but they didn’t put blue cheese on the right sub and put tomatoes on one I was very clear about not wanting. 2 whole subs, 10 wings $55 + delivery tip. As a family who used to be line cooks and delivery drivers it’s clear this business doesn’t care.
Tony’s has been great to us, they deliver within the hour, sometimes quicker. I’ve only had one bad experience with them, where they got are food all backwards. Other than that they are great, great food, great service, All the way around they are a great place! I would suggest Tony’s to anyone looking for a pizza or sub, etc. in this area.
I ordered a chicken finger sub barbecue, hot. I call and tell them that my sub was wrong. And she said, she personally made it, and she put barbecue sauce in there. The sauce I said it looks like it's a medium and I will share a picture. This sub should be covered in barbecue sauce with hot sauce. Not look like a medium sub
