Tommy's Burger Stop-Dimond

I have traveled all over the lower 48 and Alaska and this is a hidden gem. The prices are more reasonable than many places in Anchorage and the surrounding area. The location is convenient with lots of parking. The dining/seating area is comfortable and the lighting makes it feel somewhat private. I got the big poppa burger for 18:00 with all the fixings and a side of fries. The best part of the experience for me was the Cajun seasoning. Most places think cayenne pepper means Cajun but they lack flavor. This was the perfect combination of flavor and heat. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. We had an Excellent hamburger on the best bread ever. I am so tired of the fake buns ..... We had a Po'Boy cheeseburger and 😲 it was awesome with wonderful fresh tomatoes, mayo lettuce. Also a brownie 😋 pie. We are definitely going to try other sandwiches there. Mmmmmm I wish I had my phone while there to take pics.

Enjoyed what I got.. the Spenard. Asked for crispy fries and they delivered. Young-ish counter people that don't seem to understand some common kitchen/order terms. Not a huge deal. When you explain they get it. I would not recommend you rely on the QR code menu. It still had the previous week's special on it but they let me pay for my order and then told me I couldn't have it because it was Last Weeks special. Maybe they are still working the bugs out.

Had the Hellcat Burger!! Fries 🍟 were just right with crispy outside texture and soft interior. Burger was extremely delicious with just enough spice. I generally enjoy very spicy. But this should be good for the masses. Just look at the pictures for the ingredients. Wow I enjoyed it for sure!

What a gem!! Hubby had the Hello Burger and I had the Mushroom Philly! Both were amazing! We both got their onion rings which were spectacular!!! Filled us up! Very reasonably priced!! Definitely will be back!
