Tommyknocker Tavern

We had nachos and sliders. Sliders were so good we didn't get a picture! The service was great. I was just a bit surprised at the dust that was all over the things hanging on the ceiling. Maybe a good power wash.

Great little historic bar/restaurant in downtown Creede. When I was there they were out of most of what was on the menu - but I can't fault them for that because it was the end of a holiday weekend and there aren't a lot of restaurant supply stores near Creede. What was available was tasty. Beer selection leans toward biker tastes. If I had any notes it is that the waitstaff were a little short and seemed exhausted - but again it was the end of a holiday weekend.

This was the only restaurant open when we were in town. The seating on the roof is great while the sun shines. I had the cuban sliders. Just okay. Bar food available, they did have ribs available on Wednesday's, my husband ordered and said they were very good, 1/4 rack was plenty. The drive to creede is yotally worth it, beautiful in the fall.

Wow. This place is disgusting. Re used plastic solo cups for drinks. Nasty. I could see the cracking in the cup from heavy use. Service was good. But the food was the worst bbq I've ever had in my life. Plus kraft mac and cheese for $41.. Just gross. Come on do better. This is just wrong to be serving this trash. Not cool.

Nice little joint to stop for a quick beer and some snacks. We had the wings and a Mexican lager from Ska Brewing. The wings were smoked as it didn't appear they had a fryer in the building, but they were still delicious. The staff told us the building has been there since 1892, and Tommyknocker has occupied it since 1999.
