MJ's Cafe

It was such a pleasure to discover MJ’s in Creede. Not sure how we have missed it all the previous trips. It is a local family owned jut good food restaurant. Grandma cooking in the back, hearty portions, and friendly service. The picture I included is a breakfast dish. It is not a fancy restaurant, but it is good food.

We stopped in for a snack and got fries. They were delicious. Everything is made in house. We will be back for breakfast and lunch. Three generations of women run the restaurant and they are all hard workers and very friendly. Edit: We came back for breakfast and had biscuits and gravy; chicken fried steak with hash brown’s. Again we really enjoyed our food and the service!!

Had some of the very best pancakes I've ever had. Enjoyed looking at all the historical pictures on the wall. Green Chile also was a hit!

Friendly server and great food, our family of 5 stopped by during our annual visit to Creede. Pleasantly surprised they had hatch green chile. We loved topping it on our breakfast plates. The coffee cup sizes and refills were also greatly appreciated!

We love MJs! Everytime we are in town we have to go there and eat breakfast or lunch! Everyone is very friendly and make you feel at home! They have great burgers and BLTs for lunch. I highly recommend this place!
