Tolland Library

I remember when Tolland Library was the tiny, old building on the green. I think the librarian's name was Jenny? We're talking 1980 ish... I love the new library, but there was something magical about the ambience of that old building ^.^ Tolland's new library is fantastic though!

Tolland Library was a warm and inviting place! My son enjoyed their train set and puppet station, and I was pleasantly surprised by their game selection in addition to the wide variety of books. I also misplaced my wallet and the librarians were quite patient with me! I found it later, so relieved! Thank you, we will be back!

Great sized library for the town. The expansion that was finished in 2016 vastly improved the spacing of the collection, as well as new use rooms and added rooms for meetings and events. The growing board game rental collection is also great in addition to the books, dvds, cds, digital books, etc. Staff are friendly and helpful too.

Love this branch so much - staff are always friendly, reservation system is awesome, book selection is incredible. It’s super easy to get the latest bestsellers here! Five stars; highly recommend.

Small but it's nice and quiet anytime I've gone there. They have a few study rooms which are almost often available.
