Tokyo Monster Sushi Birch Bay

This is my first time here on the way to Canada. Hungry. So we stopped by here. Omg they have everything here! If you don’t know where to go and everyone wants to eat different things. This is your place. And very nice atmosphere! Live piano music and warm and cozy! And a great service and food!

Had a great anniversary dinner at Tokyo Monster Sushi. The food was delicious, the service was excellent and the live piano just made for a great ambiance. The only blemish on the rating would be from the complimentary ice cream, as it tasted like the it had gone sour. Management was notified and I’m sure they fixed the issue asap, as they seemed very on top of service and wouldn’t want to offer a product, even if it is complimentary, that was not great. Highly recommend.

We had an very nice dinner here. The sushi rolls are huge and very well made and very tasty. Service was attentive and quick. If you don't like sushi there are many other choices to choose from.

Wonderful food made in-house. Wife had short rib soup which was very special and the store eagerly customized with noodles her special request. She was thrilled and the soup absolutely delicious. I had the monster sushi roll and could not finish it! The photo of my to-go box does not do the dish justice. We enjoy live piano music during our meal which was awesome. We had the gyoza for an appetizer which was light, crispy and delicious. Overall a really great experience. Free soup appetizer and ice cream? We were too full for the ice cream! We will definitely be back!

While the food was good, server was good, there was a ____ dog in a restaurant. It followed me to the restroom and went up to our table while we were eating. My daughter went to get up and the dog barked at her. Unsanitary! Health code violation, what if someone is allergic to dogs??? I asked about it and found out it's the owner's wife's dog. Seriously, who has a dog openly walking around with people eating. She didn't even apologize for her dog coming up to us. So unprofessional.
