Whatcom County Library System - Blaine Library

Library is always fun. My daughter loves it and you can check out anything from books to games to paintings. Plus they have lots of educational classes going on.

I love going to the library but this one is definitely not quiet. The employees are very sweet and helpful but tend to get loud as well (might be because the building is so small) and same with the teens when they come in (which isn't all the time) they tend to yell and are just very obnoxious. There is also been an increasing amount of homeless people coming in and just sleeping in the very limited sitting space which makes it very frustrating for people to get a seat to read or for those who need to use their laptops.

The librarians are very kind and helpful and the location is always clean despite the age of the building. I'm very excited for the new library in Blaine to be built, it has a great location and the plans look fantastic.

The library staff here is extremely helpful, knowledgable and friendly - really saved the day when I had an urgent document to print and needed to sign up for a new library membership! Excellent library, would recommend to anyone in the area.
