Great authentic Indonesian halal food spot. Modern design with natural and cultural elements. Good amount of seating inside. Very friendly service. We ordered the rock shrimp, laksa curry, and chicken broccoli stir fry. The food was outstanding. Amazingly flavorful, rich, and delicious.

Highly recommended!!! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent. Even though it's 94 miles away from where I live, I go there 2 or 3 times a month to eat. The food is really delicious.

We drove by New Haven and stopped here for lunch. Their nasi goreng (Indonesian-style) fried rice was out-of-this-world delicious! Every rice was coated with wok flavor; it's sweet and savory and so satisfying. If you never had Indonesian cuisines before, start with this one at this restaurant. My partner ordered beef rendang. It was rich with warming spices and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The chicken satay (sate ayam) had a good char and great well-balanced peanut sauce. If you are feeling frisky, ask for the Indonesian-style sambal (sambal pedas) so that you'll know how spicy your life is meant to be.

Their food is absolutely delicious. If you’re in this neighborhood, Toka Asian Kitchen is one of the Restaurants you should try. We ordered Hibachi Steak with vegetables, Chicken Katsu, Miso Soup, Hot & Sour Soup and Shrimp Shumai. It is worth eating there.

I was here 2023 and comeback again now 2025 fly faraway from Indonesia and really craving for Indonesian food after weeks.. This time I tried mie goreng and that was fantastic..
