Love having this spot in the neighborhood. So welcoming and consistently delicious.
Sabor is the BEST spot in downtown New Haven for Latin/Caribbean food. Truly a hidden gem in the city. I love it--the people there are so nice, the food feels like a warm hug, and it reminds me of my mother's Cuban cooking. Super authentic. What a spot!

This place is heavenly. I keep coming back for the mashed taro root and stewed chicken but everything I’ve tried has been fantastic! Maria and everyone else who works there are also incredibly kind. My favorite lunch spot in East Rock.
