Customer Reviews
Full disclosure: I am doing this review for a free dessert. They never stipulated that it had to be a *good* review, so I get to be honest here. The good thing is, I thought the experience was decent! Spacious place, clean. Small downside is that the space makes it hard to flag the server over, and there’s only the one person working the front during lunch on a weekday (Thursday, to be specific, at 1pm). I was the only customer for about ten minutes, before a table of three came in. The guy out front was quite attentive to me, which I appreciated. However, he did disappear for a small stretch, and that happened to be when the other table arrived. They stood there for about two minutes before he emerged? Some of the music choices were also a little odd, but not something I’d hold against
Food is beautifully presented and service is friendly, though not as attentive as I would have hoped for and there was a bit of a language barrier. Pricy for what you get. Flavors were bland despite aesthetic presentation: spicy ramen soup was missing salt and pork belly was fattier than most I’ve had. The broth was missing so much flavor overall. Karaage chicken bao buns- chicken itself was cooked well and juicy, but the bao bun was missing some acidic component like a pickled veggie and more sauce and the buns were getting stuck to the tray they came in. The Takoyaki was well seasoned, but also seemed to be missing spices and I wish it had more octopus in it. My husband ordered the Korean chicken rice bowl which was cooked well, but it was mostly rice and the saving grace were the few pr
Natalia did an amazing job as our waitress. I’ve been dining at tojo’s for a while but her service was the best I’ve seen here. She’s attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. They expanded their menu and it was more enjoyable with the new items. I recommend the Thai iced tea, calamari, and crème brûlée bingsoo!
Best fried garlic ramen in my entire life. Soup and toppings are really incredible. So delicious! Also kara age chicken highly recommend.
Great service and awesome food! It’s separated from the food court and a nice relaxing space away from the busy mall foot traffic
