Toby’s Dog House in the Upper Peninsula is a total hidden gem—casual, delicious, and full of good vibes! We tried the pork egg rolls (crispy and packed with flavor), the Lions Dog (a perfect game-day twist on a classic), a juicy burger, and some crispy fries, and everything came out exactly as ordered—hot, fresh, and spot-on. Portions were generous, and the quality shone through every bite. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier; you can tell they genuinely love what they do, chatting with us like old friends and making the whole experience feel welcoming. If you’re in the area craving comfort food with a smile, this is your spot. We’ll be back next time we’re up north!

Nicely curated styles of hot dogs available. Takes a little while, but everything is fresh and tasty! Lady at the counter was very good customer service. You can sit at the Barge In nextdoor and get drinks.

The fish in the fish basket was fried perfectly, crispy outside, flakes inside. The fries that came with it would be better if crisper. They were too soft and mushy. The French dip was tasty and on a soft roll. Weather was nice, so we ate on the patio.

We dine on Toby's take-out whenever we're in Munising for more than a day. We have both tried multiple items from the menu, and have always been pleased with the taste, quantity, and cooking technique from everything we've eaten of this establishment. Though they are noted for their specialty hotdogs, I am a fan of their Gyros and their Seafood Po'Boy. Don't go their expecting to sit, as it is take-out only. And it is cooked on demand so it is fresh, but you expect to wait while it is prepared. But, it is well worth the wait, ioho.

Amazing food and atmosphere! We got 3 hot dogs, fries and 2 sides of coleslaw for just $28. You can go right next door to the barge inn to grab drinks and eat inside or on the super nice patio area.
