Cooking Carberrys wood Fired Pizza

GREAT pizza! The girls working the counter were super friendly. CASH ONLY. I was able to tackle an entire pizza in a hungry state, but I could see splitting one with someone if I wasn't starving. I can't remember the name, but I got the artichoke one and added bacon. It was perfect. Brewery next door/connected is a great partnership situation with plenty of seating and good beer. They bring the pizza right to you. Good service inside the brewery as well!

We stopped by for a bite after hiking at Pictured Rocks. Great food for value. We tried their Ginger Rhubarb and Vegetarian pizzas. Portions are small, so we had one pizza per person. Ginger Rhubarb was too sweet for our liking. Vegetarian pizza was delicious, but it could have been spicier. They take cash only. Seating is available at adjacent bar, which had refreshing beer.

*VEGETARIAN * I am big fan of woodfire pizza. I have been to so many places to try woodfire pizza. For the toppings and Quality of the pizza base and sauces, this pizza falls under average woodfire pizza for me. Pizza size is decent small paper plate size. With limited options of toppings available.

The pizza was very...rustic. it was not what we expected after seeing other reviews and ratings, but the service was pleasant and the outdoor seating was nice. We got the Fig and Pig, Chicken Pesto, and Margherita pizzas and the Fig and Pig was definitely the better of the 3. The pesto had chicken that was very dry and the pesto tasted like spinach. The Margherita had so many large slices of tomatoes you could hardly taste anything else. There is no drink option unless you go next door to the brewery so we didn't even get waters. It just wasn't our vibe.

Cash only! Delicious, creative pizzas. We had the Blueberry and the Rhubarb/Ginger. We added chicken to the Rhubarb/Ginger! Both were very yummy! The pizza ladies were all very friendly and service was very quick for a made-to-order restaurant. Pricing was very reasonable. One pizza feeds one adult. Seating was in a bar next door and was flexible.
