Tobacco Road Country Grill

WARNING-I ate some of my food before I took the pictures. I ordered pancakes, bacon, a sausage patty, scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes (I asked to add onions), a South Hill Latte, and a brownie. The food was good and the portions were worth the money. The customer service was great. Overall I give it an 8.

Great Food, Great service and Great owners I just met. What more is it to love? Make this your stop and support locally a owned business like this instead of a corporate chain with less quality food.

Food was tasty. I tried the fried catfish, BBQ, burger, mac n cheese, fries and slaw. I was happy with all of it. I would suggest asking for honey butter for the rolls and hush puppies.

I really wanted to like this place and support a new local restaurant, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing. The kitchen got part of our order wrong. My partner ordered the hamburger steak without cheese, but it arrived with cheese. The waitress didn’t catch the mistake, but did offer to correct it when we brought it to her attention. At that point we decided to just scrape the cheese off instead of waiting. I ordered the BBQ sandwich, which had what I believe was a liquid smoke flavor. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the menu description. I understand some people enjoy that flavor, but I personally don’t, and I wouldn’t have ordered it had I known. Breakfast only on Sunday. Fabulous! Great selection, reasonably priced. Good coffee ☕. Friendly staff. Clean restroom.
