Toastique

My first time at Toastique and I was very impressed. I got the avocado smash and added an egg. It was delicious and fit right into my meal plan! Super healthy! Tevynn was so sweet and helpful!! The food came out fast and the restaurant was very clean! Highly recommend and I will be eating there again!

I've seen this place many times and regret not stopping sooner. This is my absolute most favorite place in Bakersfield now!!! (Sorry to my other places) This is top tier. The quality 👌🏽the options 🙌🏽 I love it all. I love the coffee too! So to have both amazing food and coffee. You have my heart

All employees are super nice. They are very accommodating to special requests. My friend and I usually order the Smoked salmon toast. Today, we decided to switch it up. We ordered their seasonal Smoky Chipotle Turkey toast. All we want to do is kiss the chef!!

There is literally 4 people here and it took them almost 30 minutes to make 2 drinks ans 2 pieces of toast. The two women working are extremely nonchalant and have zero sense of urgency. If they were my employees i would retrain or let them go immedately. I see them working on one order, and taking their time and making it all pretty and la di da and then 20 minutes later, they drop the bread for the next order into the toaster. ZERO efficiency. I really hope the owner sees this, because anything on a piece of bread should not be taking 30 minutes. And it wasnt anything special either! Overpriced and insignificant.

My friend and I came today, 2/2/26 around 12pm and when we entered we were quietly greeted and both workers seemed hesitant to take our order. The decor was very inviting and open but the atmosphere was not, we did not receive a smile from any employee and both had a cold and reserved demeanor. The cold shoulder made us want to eat outside but their patio furniture was inside and not setup so instead we took our order to go, there was no sense of urgency and so much nonchalance we felt too awkward to make conversation. I don’t plan to come back, but if by chance I do then I hope they are not there. Food was decent but I almost asked for a refund because of the service.
