Tlaquepaque Mexican Grille & Restaurant

Service was good, prices reasonable. Portions were generous. Thought it needed a little more fajita seasoning, but we were told not as authentic as another place in town.

It smells like a pig farm outside so close your nose or your appetite will be ruined. Two we accidentally arrived about 45 mins prior to closing because the hours I looked up were for the King location. Sooo, our waitress rushed us in our order selection. I’m from Chicago and I know Mexican food and this was absolutely the worst, most dry and favorless food I’ve ever had in my life. This place came highly recommended as it was our first time visiting Dobson, we will never ever eat here again. The most plain shrimp tacos ever, 4 shrimp cheese, onions, cilantro…nothing. It looks like a child made this.

Decent Mexican fare in a sleepy little town. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The booth was super tiny and you had to squeeze in with the table right at your stomach. Food was pretty good, although the quesadilla wasn’t served with any additional salsas (the one pictured was from the chips they gave the table).

They must have upped their prices from the menu online. This alone was over $17 tonight. Definitely too expensive. Originally I ordered everything here but with one less ramekin of cheese dip. It was the chicken nachos (cheese dip on the side) & a side of 3 tacos... that total was over $13. When I got there I asked to buy one more small ramekin of cheese. Instead of charging me a lesser price for the smaller container, they charged me for an appetizer of cheese dip but didn't give me the correct size of cheese dip, only another small ramekin. I'd normally say something but there were different crowds of people already waiting for their to-go's & a huge family was up front paying WITHOUT masks on.

I ordered food from this restaurant and overall it was disgusting when I went to try to get my money back and took all the food I had a bought they decided to look through all of it and only gave $31 when I had almost paid $70! This picture shows what they call tacos de al pastor, it looks like straight dog food, I asked to speak to the manager @10:57 am and an employee told me that their manager still wasn’t there, I’ve never heard of employees being at a restaurant before their manager, very unprofessional in my opinion. The manager was very rude and unprofessional, don’t go waste your time, that’s why you hardly ever see any cars at this location.
