Ordered the birria street tacos! Delicious!! I particularly liked that they were served on 2 layers of tortillas that were cooked slightly crispy, but still foldable. Really nice to eat! I was excited to see they had horchata, which I've never been able to try before. It was also great and paired well with the tacos! They were very friendly to someone not super familiar with Mexican food ^^. Would definitely come here again, and there was lots on the menu I'd love to try.
We ordered stuffed fried jalapeños. They were ok. A little weird. I wouldn't order again. What made them bad was that they used pickled jalapeños. Wack. birria tacos. They were good. A combo plate with red enchilada, chile relleno and a crispy beef taco. The taco and enchilada were bland and boring. The chile relleno was good. The best part of this place is that the horchadas are refillable. So go for the chille relleno, birria a d horchadas! I didn't hate it. Didn't love it.
Had the pazole and a burrito. We lived in mexico city for 2 years and my wife loved the pazole which she's pretty picky about. Serving portions are great, food was very yummy.
Wow! How did I live in Colorado Springs this many years and not know about this place? Looking for a "hole in the wall" non-chain Mexican restaurant?? This is it! Wow! Great choices, very authentic, super fast, & very friendly service! My two youngest sons ordered the breakfast burrito and it was huge and the eggs were actually not overcooked like a lot of places do! My husband ordered a big burrito and he loved it! I got the chicken fajitas and they were so tasty! We will definitely be back!
We arrived in Colorado Springs after a long plane ride, and we're tired and hungry. We had about 4 hours to check in, and my kid searched for a place to eat. This place came up so we thought we would try it. Being from a different state, we just searched Google, and we were not disappointed. First the smells upon entering made my stomach growl from hunger, that it was unreal. Great customer service, the lady at the counter took her time explaining the different options to my son, the freshest tastes that we still are talking about and the burrito my son got was as big as his hand!! He got the deep fried ice cream and took a picture to send to his friend, and they were so amazed. We do not have anything like this back home in Washington State. Thank you for the best experience!!
