Tj Smith's restaurant & bar

The food at this place rocked! I had a Cobb salad which had a whole fresh avocado, fresh real turkey, real bacon and an amazing amount of food. My wife had the Mediterranean Chicken sandwich and the bread was fresh, soft and toasted perfectly. We couldn't help but notice the military efficiency of how this place ran. The minute a table cleared, it was thoroughly cleaned and immediately set ready for the next customer. It was very generous portions, dimly lit nicely, a great bar area, but it was slightly loud. The ceilings are high, but it was definitely not quiet. This place overall rocked!

Eating in the restaurant provides better quality food. This is a picture of a cheesesteak egg roll that we were sent tonight through ordering via food delivery service. Completely burnt and fried from the inside out. Boneless buffalo wings were either old or made in bulk tonight - arrived super soggy compared to an order of bbq wings that my husband ordered. Not sure what happened as they are typically delicious. Very disappointed as this was a once in a while splurge and TJ Smith’s is typically very good and worth the money.

My wife and I first met on the New York City subway exactly 40 years ago. We decided to take a short road trip to Bucks County to celebrate the occasion and chose TJ Smith’s for our dinner. Our server, Hope, helped to make the evening special. The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Dessert was also excellent! We will definitely be back to TJ Smith’s when we are in the area again.

Well, where to begin. We had reservations at 6 and it is now 6:30 and we are back home and I am leaving this review. I drove from VA this morning to visit my daughter who goes to school in PA. I wanted to take her and her boyfriend out for a nice dinner since they couldn’t be home in VA for Thanksgiving and their apt does not have the capabilities to cook a Thanksgiving dinner as it’s a basement apt. I had originally made reservations at another restaurant, but on my way in to town I saw people going into TJ Smiths. I pulled up their menu when I got to my daughter’s apt and the options looked good, so I called them and made a reservation. When we arrived, there was a buffet set up and that was the only option. It was my fault for not being aware that they would not be serving their menu. I

My first time at Tj Smith's was very enjoyable. I'm wheelchair bound and their open floor plan allowed me to move around easily. We had dinner which included appetizers and soup, all which was very tasty. The portions were generous. The service was very good. I would definitely return to this restaurant, as well as recommend it to friends.
