Philly Pete’s Eats

Had the Philly Philly Roast Pork, crab fries, and a fried Oreo. It was delicious! The spot is a bit hard to tell where it is (across from the jewelry store). Their owner stated they plan to get a more visible sign in the future. I would recommend this place hands down! The atmosphere is nice, it's small but there is enough room. They have a box of trading cards for the kids to dig through with a mix of sports and tcg cards. Stop in for a great meal and a great chat about sports past and present. 100% will be visiting again!

Food tastes like eating in a cheesteak shop from the late 90's. Same gross Via La France par-baked roll Steak & Hoagie Fagtory made famous circa 1995. Basic Frank's hot sauce mixed with a few sticks of cheap butter. Staff had zero comprehension of how to properly make a cheesesteak, meat barely chopped up, this list goes on and on for this place. Hoods were off so the store smelled of burnt grease with a light fog if grease in the air. Had to ask to open the door just to breath. Not sure how they are in business serving last centuries style food? Today tried the 5.00 smash burger. Again zero comprehension of what a smash burger is, this was just a thin burger, not smashed, not at all. It was gross, it was dry and there were those little grislte balls you find in cheap meat. The Philadelphia style food outside of Philadelphia. I've been looking for a good hoogie for the last 15 years and Philly Pete's Eats provide that desire. Jersey shore style fries in the Philadelphia burbs. Definitely recommend and will be back with family again. The fresh rolls with sesame seeds was over the top. First the food is excellent. The cheese steak is always full of flavor and stuffed with e generous helping of great-tasting beef on a really good roll. The service is friendly and very helpful. This place is highly recommended. Besides the cheese steaks, we also got the roast pork catered and it was absolutely delicious. I recently went to Steve's Prince of Steaks down the road, and there was no comparison. Please keep up the good work.

Update 3/8/2026: Have been back twice since last review. Delicious! This is the place for my weekly cheesesteak fix. -------- Ate here for first time recently. Cheesesteak was delicious and owner was very nice. Came by again on March 1st 2026 @ 3:20 pm. Doors both locked. Employees were inside and two 'Open' signs in the windows. Hours on the door say Sundays open till 5pm. Left disappointed, but will stop by another time.
