Tirado's Taqueria

We are visiting from out of state and always look for authentic Mexican food. We found this little gem connected to a gas station. The food was amazing! Being raised in Hispanic homes, we knew this was authentic food. The ingredients and spices used were very familiar. We knew this was the perfect spot. The ground beef tacos were very tasty. The beans and rice were so good. They sure were flavorful. The menudo was good. Came with the line, cilantro, onion and spiced on the side to add to it, and corn tortillas. The bowl was huge! We ordered the tamales as well because we love tamales. They were good. The only thing I noticed was there was more masa than meat. I like more meat in mine than masa but it was still good. Drove past this restaurant so many times. I finally decided today was the day to go try it out. So glad that I did. Food was amazing, well season and portions was great. Tacos was amazing plus the salsa and hot sauce bar was spot on. Most places you don't get really a choice. Here you do and it was superb. Had the birria noodles and that great! Rich and thick and meaty. Awesome choice if you had a hangover.

For a small restaurant The service and food was amazing! The price was very fair for the quality of food and portions. I would recommend this restaurant 😋 as 5 stars. My only wish is that there was one closer to Sheboygan! Thank You!

We recently visited this restaurant and really enjoyed it. The service is so welcoming and very friendly. We order a few tacos.. cabeza, lengua, asada and shrimp. Also got a burrito which was massive but well made. They have a sauce bar with a few fresh veggies that pairs well with your food. Personally enjoy the sauces but just wish they were a little more spicy.. we also had two drinks. One tamarindo and one mango which both were delicious. When it came to pricing at first glance it seems expensive but when you get your food it make sense why it’s priced that way.. like the 3 taco plate comes with a side of rice and bean but also includes a soda which seems like a great deal. I’ve driven by the restaurant several times, finally pulled in and had lunch! The customer service is fantastic, all the cooks were smiling and enjoying working ! The Hugh Burrito was amazing, enough for two meals, the salsa bar was great! Thumbs up Tirado’s Taqueria!
