Tijuana Flats

Absolutely delicious! Staff was friendly and helpful! This visit was our first and we will absolutely come again even though we live an hour away! Although we had food leftover, I also bought a bowl for supper tonight! Please come to Smithfield, NC!

Took my kids here and they really enjoyed it- the staff was kind and willing to split our queso into two containers for the kids to share and very helpful in answering any questions. Food wasn’t mind blowing but it was good for the value. Two kids gave 5+ stars and one voted for 4 stars. My son loved looking at the hot sauce flavors and asking me to try them 😆

This is the worst Tijuana flats I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to locations is multiple states. The employees were not friendly, welcoming, or even cared what my needs were. The chips were VERY stale and they gave me like 5 chips. Which is fine cause they weren’t edible. The dos tacos were a joke. The chicken was so dry and stale like It had been baking in the sun all day. No sour cream like I’d asked for. The shell on the crunchy taco was stale. There was honestly nothing about this I enjoyed. I had to run to food lion to get sour cream to make this more palatable and even that didn’t help. I’ll find another place to get much better food.

Asked for double stack tacos and unfortunately the staff seemed kind of confused at what I was ordering. After asking for assistance they figured it out which was fine, it really did not bother me. But as a prior employee for 4 years at this exact location what did bother me was their ability to build a taco. I feel bad writing this because the staff was very nice but First off they lost my ticket, which was completely fine as they remade it swiftly. What is not fine is making my taco so quickly that it is not made how it’s supposed to. Double stack tacos are supposed to have queso spread “coast to coast” and the taco ingredients are not supposed to be spilling on top of the queso inside the shell. It is very simple. Queso on flour shell, put hard taco shell on, and then add ingredients. M

Their Chimi‘s are so big! Good queso and $5 Margaritas on the weekend. 👨‍🍳🤌💋
