Tide street public Beach access

We love New Smyrna Beach. It's clean and family-friendly. The north end has one of the best wave breaks on the East Coast. There's plenty of small sharks, so just remember. You're in their house. You can drive on the beach at multiple locations in Volusia County. You can use the Volusia County beach app to help you out. High tides cause them to close at times. No alcohol. No pets. Respect the ocean. It's beautiful but can be deadly if you're paying attention.

Love this beach. Usually not too crowded, you get to drive on the beach and keep dogs on a leash. The sheriff keeps things safe and quiet. We always get a yearly pass Handycap is free

There is nothing like being able to drive your car on the beach. Lift up the tail gate, put on your favorite tunes, and dance your long all off. Of course a best friend in tow was the cherry on the sundae. Highly recommended!

Today the lone to get one the beach was insane! The New Symnra staff was prepared! They were directing traffic. Going to cars about 5 cars before the gate and clearing locals quickly for entrance. The staff was directing traffic due to about a mile of cars coming in from different side streets. Great job staff!!
