Tiburón Jarocho Mariscos

What a privilege to try some of Alfredo’s food, which clearly has a ton of thought and love put into it! We had the mackerel minilla, chilpachole, tacos de cochinita pibil (not pictured), and one of the chef specials (I can’t recall the name, but I would describe it as a coconut aguachile with octopus and raw shrimp). Everything he made was so fresh and full of flavor, and it was really fun talking to him about the history of some of the dishes. The tostadas (made in house) I would buy by the bagful. We’re itching to go back and make our way through the entire menu… Oh, and definitely don’t skip the helados artesanales!

Amazing food!!! Lots of options outside the norm of Mariscos you see all over town. It is all made to order, so be prepared to wait. We had a great time talking with the owner about things we like and things he likes and ordering more and more dishes. Thank you so much Alfredo, we will be back soon and can't wait for you to get your alcohol license and see what you come up with! DONT SLEEP ON THE MANGO-KIWI AGUACHILES. It's his favorite and it was our favorite too!

Best mariscos i’ve had in a great while! Everything is made to order with the freshest ingredients . My favorite is the aguachiles verdes. They have a variety of dishes, their cochinita pibil tacos with pickled onions are addicting you’ll want more than one. For dessert they have local made ice cream with various fresh fruit flavors that are very good as well. Great spot to dine in or take out, the owner is friendly and attentive. Overall check this place out, you won’t regret it!

Im first gen Mexican American and this is the best ceviche and aguachile I have ever had in the states and definitely in Portland. So fresh and made on the spot. New favorite marisco (seafood) spot in Portland unlocked!

Ceviche was so good!! I got the shrimp and raw tuna. Seafood tasted very fresh and was full of flavor. Very clean inside. Was difficult to find parking and looked unappealing from the outside to be honest, but don’t let that stop you from coming!
