Thyme & Plate

This place is awesome. My wife and I visited Thyme and Plate for the first time last Friday, it was so good we went back to try other items on their menu on Saturday. Their sandwiches are top notch... you also have to try their homemade chips. Dan the owner is very personable and you can tell his employees care and enjoy what they do. We can't wait to go back!

The BBLT sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! The bread is delicious (and made on by them), the tomatoes are seasoned to perfection, and everything just came together wonderfully. I could eat that sandwich everyday, happily! The inside only has counter seats but they have a nice picnic area outside to eat with tables and chairs in a shady spot. So delicious!

We just ate at Thyme & Plate for the first time yesterday and were completely blown away. From the moment you walk in, the restaurant has the most charming old-world feel. You open the main door and are immediately greeted by a vintage wooden screen door, and then the incredible smell of goodness hits you before you’ve even taken a full step inside. Add in the warm welcome and smiling faces, and you instantly know you’re somewhere special. We had been following them on Instagram for a while and were so excited to finally try it… and wow, they absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was truly out of this world. I was making all kinds of involuntary happy noises with every bite. Flavor, texture, presentation — every single detail checked the box. The staff could not have been friendlier

Very cool spot in a sleepy little village just beyond the shores of the Delaware River. I typically wait to patronize a new spot a few times before writing a review but my first experience with this gem think warrants the review. Immediately greeted by several people upon entering. The aromas filling the air were delightful. Not even the teeny, tiniest bit of pretention that you get at some of the larger more well-known river towns. Just sincere, friendly service. Delicious breakfast options and good local drip coffee. Cannot wait to return and try more of the menu.

This place definitely has something for everybody. My partner and I are both Philly Foodies, and both loved our orders. I wanted something a little lighter and refreshing, so I got “The Simple Man” - all of the ingredients were shown and the whole sandwich was delicious. My bf got the Philly Special, which was super hardy and flavourful. The peach spritzers were so delicious and elevated the whole experience. Unfortunately forgot to take pictures of the food because we were so hungry haha. Swing by here and bring a friend! You won’t regret it!
