Carversville Inn

We had an amazing evening on Saturday, our first time at the Carversville Inn. Food was exceptional, I mean the best filet mignon I have ever had in my life. The service was friendly and wonderful. But more importantly, the general manager went above and beyond to help us. My husband is in a wheelchair. The manager guided us out to our car and helped my husband get in, which was not easy. He was like an angel. We can’t wait to go back!.

Stopped by for dinner. The oysters and escargot were very excellent. The trout was a bit tough ... not sure if overcooked or ??. The Bouillabaisse had a nice lobster and tile fish but was not the style of a fish stew since it lacked a broth. The decor was very nice just not what I expected for the era of the property. Finally, the drink and bottle wine prices were quite reasonable. Overall not a bad experience, just not what we expected for a french dining experience in a historic location.

My fiancée and I stopped by here for dinner last night and wow, what a hidden gem! The interior design is gorgeous, and the food was some of the best we’ve had in the area. Service was top notch - our waiter did a great job explaining the dishes and making recommendations. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who gave my fiancée a free dessert and was an absolute pleasure to talk to. Seriously, we’re still talking about how incredible the steak was. We’ll be back very soon and recommend you do the same!

Excellent all around – food, drinks, atmosphere, background piano, service! The owners, Mitch and Milan, are really friendly too, and seem dedicated to making the experience enjoyable and memorable! Our waiter couldn’t do enough to make sure we were taken care of. (And by the way, we really appreciate the free valet parking!😉)

Dinner and service were very good. Kai was our server and did a nice job. The only hiccup was that the silverware arrived a bit late on two courses—once I waited, and the second time I had to ask. Easy kinks to work out. Overall, I’d definitely eat there again. It’s quaint, a little off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the trip.
