Thyme Japanese Cuisine

Stumbled upon this restaurant while driving interstate. Found a gem in North Andover! Food was excellent. Service however could be better. He was friendly but just lacking the customer service skills. Place is loud and you will definitely smell like food once you leave due to hibachi style cooking.

I have had many memorable meals at Thyme. The sushi is consistently top-notch. On New Year’s Eve I called the restaurant several times regarding a takeout order I was placing. They were extremely patient and accommodating every time in spite of the holiday rush. Thyme has the most mouth-watering sushi, a very welcoming atmosphere and an amazing caring team who truly prioritize customer satisfaction. Whether you eat in or out, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to enjoy their amazing sushi again soon!

I visit this restaurant often and am always impressed! The sushi is absolutely delicious; each roll is beautifully presented and clearly made with care and high-quality ingredients. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, which makes every dining experience even more enjoyable. The hibachi experience is just as great, with skilled chefs who make the meal both entertaining and delicious. I’ll definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

One hibachi chef for four tables on a Friday night led to a less than ideal experience for my wife’s birthday dinner. Our reservation was for 8pm, we sat down at 8:30pm, and then we couldn’t get the waitress’s attention for over 10 mins. Our chef arrived at 9:20pm. We ordered hibachi but the chef didn’t have yum yum sauce or ginger sauce to offer anyone. The food was less than mediocre.

I came here to celebrate my brother's birthday. Service was standard able but with a language barrier I can understand why its hard to understand the wait staff. Chef Dennis was awesome. I had Japanese food before but it wasn't up to standards but here at thyme it was PERFECT. I will more than likely to come back.
