Third Bowl Homemade Ice Cream

Been hearing about Third Bowl Ice Cream🍦across from CMU, so we finally stopped in — and wow, it’s hard to choose a flavor because they all look amazing. Small-batch, creative, and super tasty. Definitely worth a visit! 🍦👏

The best thing about the cone was the waffle cone. Ice cream was soft and icy. I paid $10+ for this cone and it definitely wasn't worth it... should've gone to Dairy Queen...at least their soft serve ice cream is creamy. One and only employee in store was sitting in a chair when I came in back door. Don't know what she was doing, but she never washed, sanitized, or even put gloves on before handling my cone.

I have been a fan of Third Bowl for a while and so excited to hear they were opening a local store. They have the same amazing quality and selection I have come to love. They also have multiple diary free/vegan options which are so creamy and delicious. You can select from pints to go as well. I find their portions to be generous and the price is reasonable for locally made fresh ice cream.

I had to try our new Grand Junction location because of all the hype, but although it taste great, the portions offered for $8 are a bit smaller than I feel is worth the cost. Don't get me wrong, it taste good, but we got three, 2 scoops and paid $26! The portion size is barely an ice cream scoop size. I won't be going back and prefer other establishments as they offer more ice cream for the buck.

We tried the Apple brown Betty the Strawberry Shortcake the blueberry Bergamot and the cookies and cream. The votes tallied prove that the Apple brown Betty was the most amazing ice cream flavor ever. Blueberry bergamot and strawberry shortcake tied for 2nd. Delicious ice cream!
