Thien Hong Restaurant

I have not visited since new ownership change. I am happy to say that one of my favorite dishes, salt and pepper squid, is still done well here. Light, tasty, and not over oily. This dish alone is worth the trip. The bonus is that all other dishes we ordered were also very tasty. Unfortunately lunch crowds on a Friday did not show up. I think this place needs more love and judging by our experience in November 2025 I recommend this place. Other dishes we tried were the chow mein, pork ribs, and chicken. Others in our party ordered extra squid orders to snack on at home. I prefer it hot out of the fryer! Service was attentive and the place was clean.

Classic Chinese cuisine. Can't go wrong place for traditional fare. Prices are reasonable and the service was good.

The salt and pepper squid really is good. I found the rest of the dishes to be bland. Except for the cream custard egg, that was delicious!

Drove all the way from New Jersey to Oregon.First place we stop was this restaurant.And I have to say was the best decision. All the food was delicious, but the calamari was to die for. The texture and the way they Fried it omg was so delicious. Now. Every time I go to Oregon I will be stopped by 2 keep trying their menu so many things I wanted to try just didn't have the stomach space for.

The food is excellent!! I live out of state but have been visiting regularly for 30 years! Pepper-salted squid is my favorite food...ever!! I would pick it as my death row last meal! I always try something new when I go (along with the squid) and Im never dissapointed. Please ignore the duck tape everwhere, it seems to be holding all the seating together...it adds charm : ) I think the food comes out quickly but sometimes you have to hunt for staff to get the check or refills but all of that is forgivable because of the squid!
